2012

The Durham Catholic Classic  (formerly the Lynx/Titan meet) is proud to be one of the first meets held at the newly completed Oshawa Civic Complex.  After a $20 million facelift, the old Civic now boasts a brand new eight lane track, a dedicated throws area, 4 jump pits, high jump, javelin and pole vault areas...the whole thing covered in shiny new  MONDO!

After our first meet last year we heard many of you say you really enjoyed the near full slate of events we carried....well, were going to try and pull it off again. This year we'll drop a distance event to bring you another first class steeple venue. Our friends from up north have offered once again to run the pole vault for us, so we'll have that. And of course we'll have all the throws, jumps and track events we can cram in.

Like the venue, this meet is a CLASSIC...so no medleys other than the birds singing in the trees.

Hope to see you there.

This meet brought to you by:
Saints Charles Garnier, home of convenor and all around nice guy Mike Pichette.
Not to be outdone by the much wittier Mark Crawford of All Saints and the much, much fitter Nick Kolodzie from Notre Dame.
